Things we learned so far

  1. Hike with min. 4 people when in bear areas
  2. Clap your hands or sing to announce your presence to bears
  3. If you don't like the weather, just wait for 10 minutes
  4. Don't underestimate the distances in the mountains, especially if a gradient is involved. It might take you twice the usual time.
