18.07-19.07 Calgary

1st impressions

One thing Canada definitely has is plenty of space. They introduced the metric system which makes it easier for us. Driving around is quite easy. Nokia navigation works just fine without Internet. The car’s size  is as in the US – BIG. Our GMC SUV fits in well. However we were surprised they have “car 2 go” here. People seem to be very friendly and helpful. We discovered they do not only fancy ice hockey, but are well informed about the soccer world cup.

Calgary is a cosy city.  Public Transportation is very convenient.  A lot of people are riding a bike. One can see a lot in a walking distance.   Shopping was also good. However it can’t compete with outlets in the USA.
