Clearwater, BC
We made a stopover in Clearwater and headed for a dinner. A place named "Old Caboose" was recommended to us. I don't have to describe it. It's enough to say that directly after dining there we had to grab BURGERS at a drive in A&W burger shop to get a better taste.
24.07 Mount Robson
Kinney Lake
Robson River
Unfortunately it's been raining the whole day, but we managed to go for a hike near mount Robson and see the Kinney lake surrounded by mountains. A 9 km round walk was nice even on a rainy day. Alas, mount Robson was hidden in the clouds. It goes as high as 3954 metres and is the highest one in the Canadian Rockies.

23.07 Jasper
Cavell Glacier
Angel Glacier
Jasper has a lot to offer. Our host gave us some valuable tips what to see and in which order. Glaciers Angel, Ghost and Cavell are breath-taking. They look differently when the sun is shining on them. The vegetation in the area is also very unique. In comparison with other hikes it was an easy one. It is also worthwhile to go slightly higher off the trail where one can see the glaciers at the eye level.
Athabasca Falls
Maligne canyon is a definitely must see. One can get very close to it and go down along it.

Canada's waterfalls, lakes and rivers
Moraine Lake
Banff Falls
Canada has lots of waterfalls, weeping walls, countless rivers and lakes. Most of them originated from glaciers. Unfortunately, glaciers become smaller and smaller. If they continue melting at the current pace they will extinguish in the next 100 years. That’s a pity for ski lovers. In order to get to see very picturesque sceneries one has to be quite sporty as it involves a lot of hiking. Some lakes are 2000 meters in the mountains. So one has to hike several kilometres up quite steep passes to get there. Furthermore, the real colour of the lake can be better seen from above. But the views are typically worth every step and sweat.
